Segment #3 PRI CONTROVERSY

Presidential politics are also making news in Mexico, where the country's largest political party, the PRI, is in the middle of a fierce internal battle for power. The former ruling party held the presidency 13 times consecutively until the historic 2000 elections. Now the PRI is hoping to win back the presidency in next year's election. But the public battle over who will be the party's next leader could hurt the PRI's chances. Latino USA's Franc Contreras has more from Mexico City. (2:26)
