Segment #1 NEXT YEAR IN HAVANA (3:32) Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Liz Balmaseda of the Miami Herald was born in Cuba just after the 1959 Revolution. Her family moved to Miami when she was only 10-months old. Her Christmas memory is entitled 'Next Year in Havana.'

Segment #2 BIG CALZONES (5:34) Native New Mexican writer and activist Denise Chavez has written a number of books beginning with her award-winning 1994 novel Face of an Angel. When asked for her favorite Christmas memory, Denise said only two-words '' ' Big Calzones.'
