Newspaper clippings, publications, ephemera, written works, photographs, and historical documents comprise this series of materials collected over the course of Castañeda's professional career. The newspaper clippings are in photocopied form, and include clippings concerning Castañeda's work over the years. Publications include two volumes of The Cactus, the University's yearbook, a typing manual, and other publications from various organizations. Ephemera comprises two boxes of materials that were collected over Castaneda's career, including mass mailings, pamphlets, and invitations. The written works in this series are all by others, sent to Castañeda for critique or for reference, and include works from E.C. Barker and C.W. Hackett, among others. The subseries of historical documents includes many original documents from the 17th-20th centuries, a collection of printers' marks, and two boxes of photostatic copies.
