Correspondence, 1934-1978

The bulk of Montemayor's correspondence is with Mauro M. Machado, then Past President and Organizer General of LULAC, and with Director of Publicity J.C. (Juan) Machuca of El Paso. Other noteworthy correspondents include J.T. Canales and Filemon T. Martinez. Another large portion of the correspondence is that of Machuca with various individuals including Alonso Perales, Canales, Jacob Rodriguez, Machado, and E.D. Salinas. This material is part (in Box 3) of the larger collection of the Alice Dickerson Montemayor Papers, 1920-1989.
