Monterrey. Statement from Secretaria del Gobierno del Estado Libre y Soberano de Nuevo León y Coahuila to the effect that explanations were not made to that office as to the capitals of D. Jacobo and D. Carlos Sanchez Navarro so that the 2 o/o taxes might be collected, as per law of December before. The $250,000 refers to his personal property and also to the part that he shares with Don Jacobo, counting in the half of his interests in the places invaded by the Indians. As to D.
