Monterrey. From Pablo José Carreño to Sr. Lic. Dn. Juan N. de Arispe at Saltillo: Col. Montero "today" paid the amount of D. Juan's former libranza, 80 pesos. Statement as to the 20 pesos mentioned in D. Juan's letter, the colonel paid ten and will pay the other ten in two weeks. Writer with others has made a contract with a certain individual to bring the funds from San Luis Potosi. Consequently in 15 or 20 days he will write D. Juan in order that he may make disposition of the rent of the casa del Sr. Sanches, which rent the writer will have in his possession, 1851, April 2:
