Mexico City. Copy of the proceedings of the Junta Menor of the Meeting of Creditors presided over by Señor Marques de San Miguel de Aguayo Materia: A question arising out of some mortgaged estates. Date of meeting: May 13, 1830. The Junta's decision: in order to prevent any acts on the part of D. Thomas Kinder prejudicial to the interests of other creditors, Dr. Grant in charge of the mortgaged estates, is to be instructed to do nothing except as it is agreed to by D. James Chabot, this being the purport of the last agreement made by the concurso. The Receiver of the estates is instructed to write the letter to Grant, and also to instruct Varela (attorney to the Receiver) that he see to it that the instructions are carried out. Original signed by Dr. Cabeza de Vaca, Ascarate, Tamariz, Conejo, Tagle, James Chabot, Manníg, and Manuel García Romero, Notary. Romero is certified by three other notaries who in addition to their own signatures "place" the seals of their respective colegios.
