Saltillo. The Intendant of the Province of Sn Luis Potosi received, on Nov. 8, 1816, a superior order from his Excellency Sor. Virrey which he quotes. The order is to the effect that beginning Oct. 21, 1816, the treasury of Saltillo is not to be a paymaster's office as it was in the beginning, nor included in the general command of Chihuahua as it afterwards was but as a Roay Treasury -- a depository for all funds belonging to the Royal Treasury.
