Writes that he has news that the Indians attacked a flock of sheep that had just been sheared; the shepherd frightened, fled, so he does not know the fate of the overseer and a man that was with him; later Ignacio Flores, passing, gave news that Indians had killed one woman and wounded another in Ojo de Agua where they were washing, 1817, August 23:
