States that he regrets to hear of the calamities at Monclova; that the Navy Fort was destroyed by the fire of the 15th; that they have taken the artillery pieces along with the English armaments and powder to Mexico City; and that Miva has fled after an encounter with the forces at Arminan in which more than 100 were killed, 1817, June 29:
