San Miguel. Domingo de Berrio to D. Miguel Jose Sanches Navarro. States that D. Jose Maria de Allende is very grateful for D. Miguel's generosity in turning over to him the value of the mule. Don. Miguel writes that there have been 1891 loads of wool delivered by his hacienda to Martin (the meaning here is 1891 heads of sheep instead of loads of wool), the price of which he has fixed at 5½ reales each, which price he trusts will be satisfactory. Writer desires certain articles from Don Miguel in order that his account may be liquidated. They find themselves greatly relieved because of the good rains, 1802, July 9:
