Series B: Architectural Drawings Collection, 1982-1987, undated

The Architectural Drawings Collection files contain evidence of one of the Center’s original activities, facilitating the acquisition of architectural drawings from prominent architects, particularly in the southwest region, for the Architectural Drawings Collection, now the Alexander Architectural Archives. Files in this series also document the early history of the Architectural Drawings Collection, founded by Blake Alexander who served as co-director of the Center from 1982-1986. This series highlights the collaborative relationship between the Center and the Architectural Drawings Collection in seeking funding opportunities, drafting promotional brochures, exhibition creation, and assisting with loans of archival material held by the Architectural Drawings Collection.
