B1: Society for Commercial Archeology journals, 1978-2024

Records include journals published by SCA spanning 1978-2023. SCA NewsJournal, first published in 1978, was introduced one year after the founding of the organization. The serial was published sporadically with frequent gaps in between each publication. In 1993, the SCA Board created two formal publications, a journal and quarterly newsletter. Journal publications retained the SCA NewsJournal name until 1995. It was subsequently changed to SCA Journal. SCA Journal closely mirrors its predecessor and continues SCA NewsJournal publication numbering. Content focuses on scholarly and lengthy discussion on all aspects of 20th century commercial archeology. Since 1996, the journal has been published quarterly (Spring/Fall).
