Series C: Faculty Files, 1895-2020, undated

The Faculty Files series contains analog and born-digital records of Alofsin’s work as an educator, faculty member, and administrator at The University of Texas at Austin School of Architecture (SOA). Alofsin began his teaching career as a research professor at the School of Architecture in 1987. During his tenure, he created eighteen new courses including Methodologies in Architectural History, Studies on Frank Lloyd Wright, and most notable, a comprehensive Survey of Modern Architecture. Advancing the School’s academic options, Alofsin founded the Ph.D. program in architecture and served as the Director of the Center for American Architecture and Design (CAAD) from 1990 to 1993.
