Sub-Group 1: Buie Harwood

Records in this sub-group relate to the work and research of Buie Harwood, interior design professor and scholar specializing in decorative painting. Much of this collection focuses on material relating to Harwood’s 1993 book, Decorating Texas: Decorative Painting in the Lone Star State from the 1850s to the 1950s. The series also reflects Harwood’s work as a decorative painting consultant on restoration projects.
