Series D: Printed Materials

The Printed Materials series (1936-1992), illuminates the magnitude of publicity and popular acclaim Perkins's designs garnered. Perkins himself maintained three scrapbooks which he filled with newspaper and magazine clippings on himself and eight tearsheets from magazines. Scrapbooks are wrapped and stored independently. Thirty-seven magazines were annotated by Perkins to indicate where in the magazine the article on his work could be found.
