Series B2: Associations & Committees,, 1939-1941, 1952-1983.

The Associations and Committees subseries contains papers relating to Ford's activity in associations related to architecture, arts, and education, both regional and national. Included are professional architectural associations (i.e. American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects), preservation/conservation organizations and committees (i.e. Texas State Historical Survey Committee, San Antonio Conservation Society), architectural committees at institutions of higher learning (i.e. Harvard, MIT, University of Texas), and government architectural committees (i.e. Federal Architecture Task Force, Foreign Buildings Operation). Of the arts, humanities, and education organizations, especially prominent are papers concerning Ford's involvement as a member of the National Council on the Arts/National Endowment for the Arts during 1968-1974. Folders appear alphabetically by group name and then are arranged chronologically within each group.
