Series C2: University of Texas, 1960-1983

The University of Texas at Austin series includes assorted correspondence, printed material, and Alexander's creative work done in the service of the University at large. The bulk of the information in this series relates to the Winedale Stagecoach Inn. Ima Hogg purchased Winedale in 1965 and in 1967 donated the property to UT as a study center. Alexander's Texas Quarterly article regarding the Winedale Stagecoach Inn was informed by his work with Winedale Committees, such as the Advisory Committee and Planning Committee. Alexander's files include records for many University committees: the Centennial Committee, Advisory Committee for Conservation of University Properties, and the Art Museum Advisory Committee. Correspondents include Ima Hogg, Bassett Maguire, and Marshall Johnson.
