Series C: Consulting, 1980-2011, undated

This series documents the consulting work conducted by Volz & Associates, Inc. Consulting work includes documentation of IMS (now IMLS) grant-funded Conservation Assessment Program (CAP) projects for small museums and any advisory work the firm did to help clients develop architectural and historic preservation plans. Record types include correspondence, field notes, historical research, photographic materials, and master plan documents in both analog and digital formats. Folder titles were directly transcribed from original folders and files were kept in the original order in which they were received from the donor. Many projects in this series are also present in Series B: Project Files. Architectural drawings are also located in Series D: Drawings.

Digital files in this series are partially processed. The digital files range in date from 1980-2011, though disk errors show the date range as 1957-2040. Please be aware that the number of files and the file size listed next to each project relates to the entire disk, not a specific project on that disk. Disks in this collection often contain records for multiple projects. Further processing is needed to establish the number of files and file size for discrete projects on each disk.
